I must say that Bob was truly skeptical about the wisdom in
hiring my Excavator, Mike, to do the main part of the digging,
as Kimberly's son worked for a landscaper and knew how to
operate a bobcat.  He also had some reservations about
whether or not I was going to be any help at all labor-wise, as I
never go ANYWHERE without my hair, nails and make-up done.
When all was said and done though, I am confident that he was
satisfied that the expense of both was well worth it.

The main part of the pond was dug out with a backhoe, with
Bob and I doing the finish work on the plant shelves by hand.
Their pond is roughly 4½' deep, which was a good thing,
considering he wanted a really long stream.  They did have to
bring in some black dirt to top up the gardens around the
waterfall and stream, but that was something Kimberly's son
could do with the bobcat.
Kimberly's son tearing up the yard, er, I mean moving the
dirt around with a bobcat.
Kimberly's son was also able to provide all the boulders we
needed at a discount through his employer, and we needed a LOT
of them.
The waterfall is finally coming together.
A pretty pond for a pretty lady.
Marcus doing what Marcus does best.
below, you will see how the addition of plants and fish
transform Kimberly and Bob's back yard into a show place.
